Scott Romanoff is the co-founder and co-managing partner of Franchise Equity Partners. Previously, he worked at Goldman Sachs for 28 years in a variety of roles within the investment banking division and the executive office in both New York and London.
Born and raised outside Philadelphia, Jennifer Romanoff received her B.S. in advertising from Syracuse University and worked as an advertising copywriter in Manhattan. After moving to London in 1998, she studied photography at the London College of Printing.
Upon returning to New York City in 2005, Jen and Scott enrolled their daughters Eva and Mia in The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School and soon became very involved at the JCC, going on to co-chair White Hot Winter Weekend. In the many years since, the family has attended swim classes and many community, cultural, and holiday events. Scott joined the board in 2009 and has served on the executive and finance committees, as treasurer, and is currently vice-chair. Jen and Scott reside on the Upper West Side.
Stan Parker was born in Odessa, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1980 as a small child. He grew up in St. Louis, MO, spending summers with his grandparents at the local JCC. Stan is a founding partner of Gamut Capital, a middle-market private equity firm. Prior to forming Gamut in 2015, he worked with Apollo Global Management for 14 years, including as a senior partner. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a B.S. in economics.
Jennifer Deppe Parker is a New York born and raised multidisciplinary artist, designer, and curator. Working in painting, photography, and collage-based work, she combines her knowledge of design with her background as a fine artist, examining ways to engage the unconscious mind. She has participated in exhibitions across the United States and in Canada, Europe, and Asia.
Stan and Jennifer joined the board of the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan in 2015, both because of Stan's involvement with the JCC in St. Louis when he was young, and their excitement about the local community when their children entered the 2s Together program. Stan has served on the development committee and was an integral part of developing Camp Settoga. Jennifer has worked closely with the marketing department, spearheading multiple campaigns inside and outside of the building.
In addition to their involvement in the JCC, Stan and Jennifer have been involved with the Mount Sinai Children’s Center Foundation for almost a decade.
